Fabricators, Homeowners, Designers, Architects, Home Builders, Developers, Contractors, Dealers, Installers, Kitchen and Bath and more.... Q.Why is granite an excellent material for kitchen countertops? A. Next to diamond, sapphire, and ruby, granite is the hardest natural product on earth. Once polished, natural granite will maintain its high gloss virtually forever. Normal use of kitchen knives, cutlery, and cookware leaves no scratches. Heat has almost no effect on natural granite, making it much safer than synthetic surfaces with polyesters and resins. Pots and pans heated to 900 degrees Fahrenheit will not dull natural granite's lustrous finish, but the use of trivets is recommended to keep your granite counter clean. Q. Can granite get stained and do I need to seal it? A. Granite is a highly dense material and relatively porous so it can get stained if a spill is not cleaned quickly. Sealing the surface with a water-based sealant is therefore recommended to protect the granite from water patches and stains. Sealing can be done once a year or once every two years depending on the usage of the surface. Q. What is A&V Granite’s Importers Quartz slab line called? A. Our Quartz surface product is referred to as “StylenQuaza.” Q. What are the fields of application for StylenQuaza? A. Quartz is combined with high-quality engineered polyester resins and pigments to produce a natural stone without the high maintenance. Q. How durable is Stylenquaza? A. Do you need to apply a sealer to StylenQuaza? A. Quartz Surfaces are nonporous, so you will never have to apply sealer to the surface. Q. How stain resistant is Stylenquaza? A. Stylenquaza Quartz Surface is non-porous due to the physical properties of the quartz components of the surfaces. Quartz in itself is an inert, non-absorbent mineral and therefore makes Stylenquaza surfaces resist most stains caused by fruit juices, liquid food coloring, coffee, tea, wine, grapes and soft drinks. It is important to note that Stylenquaza's maximum stain-resistance qualities make sealers unnecessary. Q. How do I maintain the natural beauty of stylenquaza? A. Simply wipe with warm water and soap using a damp cloth or paper towel. Grease, grime, hairspray, or messy makeup spills easily disappear! Normal cleaning with a damp cloth will keep your Stylenquaza polished surface looking like new and to avoid dulling the surface, make sure to use a non-abrasive cleaner. Q.
